Home buyers need their own professional representation
Q. I know a seller usually hires a real estate agent. As a buyer, why do I need my own agent?
A. Let's start by reviewing why the seller uses a real estate agent. A seller hires a Realtor to help protect his/her best interests, to provide MLS market research, to help determine fair market value, to create and implement an effective plan, to negotiate the best price and terms, to handle the legal paperwork, etc. For exactly the same reasons, you benefit by using your own Realtor who is dedicated to protecting only your best interests.
Q. What does it cost a buyer to be represented by a professional Realtor©?
A. Nothing! The buyer agent's services are paid by the seller through the listing broker. With me, it won't cost you anything to take advantage of the benefits of using your own professional Realtor.
Q. How do I get a professional Realtor© working on my behalf?
A. Find an Realtor you trust, who understands your needs and who will always put your interests first. Just as a seller signs a listing agreement, you will be asked at some point to sign a buyer representation agreement that outlines the obligations and responsibilities of each party.
